Below is the actual MAAPP Policy as of January 1st, 2022

The MAAPP Manual below is an easy to read guide based on the MAAPP policy

Parent and Athlete versions of the SafeSport training is encouraged but not mandated and you can find the links below

All Adult Participants are required to be SafeSport trained. Adult Participant is defined as
An Adult Participant is any adult (18 years of age or older) who is:
1. A member or license holder of an NGB, PSO, LAO (club), or USOPC;
2. An employee or board member of an NGB, PSO, LAO (Club), or USOPC;
3. Within the governance or disciplinary jurisdiction of an NGB, PSO, LAO (Club), or USOPC;
4. Authorized, approved, or appointed by an NGB, PSO, LAO, or USOPC to have regular contact with or authority over Minor Athletes
In order to assist our clubs and administrate the new MAAPP policy, IYSA has created a portal for clubs to use so that their Board Members, Staff, Volunteers and other Adult Participant, can easily take the SafeSport training for FREE and be in compliance
