The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Coaching Education Overview

Coaching Education is unique. Despite its title, it’s actually not about the coaches. The purpose of Coaching Education is to bring more soccer opportunities to our players, fostering a strong soccer community and creating better development environments so our players can improve and find a love for the game. Without experienced, thoughtful, educated coaches that can’t happen.

Idaho Youth Soccer’s coaching education programs are designed to meet our player development guidelines and the curriculum laid out by US Soccer (USSF) as well as United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA).  There are educational opportunities for the grassroots coach just starting out to those pursuing the highest licensing in their field.

With Coaching Education we aim to:

·        Provide all soccer coaches, from beginner to the advanced, with up-to-date theoretical and practical knowledge.
·        Meet the needs of today's modern coach.
·        Encourage and prepare growth to earn National Coaching Licenses
·        Provide a system which improves a coach’s knowledge of the game, methodology, and teaching methods.

Please explore our coaching education resources to discover what opportunities are available to you!
