The goal of the IYSA ODP ID Camp is to regionalize exposure to the ODP format, training methods, and program. This camp will also provide an opportunity to invite participants into their age group “State pool” for those evaluated at the ODP level sooner than the first Idaho ODP tryout date August 13/14th in Boise.  Players added to the ODP pool will be invited to additional training opportunities regionally and become eligible to be selected to the State Team.  Players selected for the State team attend the ODP Championships in January each year. 

Focus of these IYSA ODP ID Camps is two-fold. Player development (training based on principles of attacking and defending and skills needed to succeed in both) and Player Identification (finding players for the ODP pool). The camp will consist of three training sessions. Friday evening, Saturday morning and Saturday evening. At the conclusion of camp, those players invited into the ODP pool will be informed via email the following week.
