Welcome to Idaho Youth Soccer’s official website for the US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP). US Youth Soccer’s ODP is a national program that has been in existence since 1977 and is considered the finest soccer program in the country.
ODP is designed to identify and develop talented youth soccer players throughout the country to represent their state association, region and the United States in soccer competition. ODP is offered as a compliment to club programs as an additional resource for player development as they prepare for state, regional, national and international competitions.
Idaho ODP represents the highest level of youth soccer offered in the state of Idaho and is available to all [age specific] youth soccer players registered with Idaho Youth Soccer.

General Information and Links
The Olympic Development Program is open to all players born in 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000. If you are currently not a registered IYSA player, contact the IYSA office at 208-336-5256 to register.
State Pool Selection:
There is a $30 fee to try out for the IYSA ODP State Pool., if you are selected to the pool, you will be responsible to pay the program fee. The program fee will be due within thirty days of selection to the pool. This fee covers all training sessions, the state pool gear. The PRIMARY identification process is through the September selection weekend for the 1998, 1999 and 2000 age groups. The 1995, 1996, and 1997 PRIMARY identification weekend will be in late October or early November. Starting this year, players may only make the State Pool at a State Training. Players who cannot attend their primary identification weekend, must first attend a district training and make the district pool; then the player may attend the next state training to tryout for the State Pool. In order to be selected to travel with the State Team, players must have attended at least 50% of the practices/events.
